Loading Payroll Tax Tables

Loading Payroll Tax Tables on Mac

AccountEdge provides payroll tax updates to users currently enrolled in a Payroll Tax Service plan running the latest version of the software.

  1. Go to AccountEdge Pro or AccountEdge NE on the top menu bar, select Check for Updates

After checking for updates you will be asked to install the last update. The software will quit when you do this and then reopen when finished.

After you have installed the latest update, you need to load the latest tax tables.

  1. Go to Setup on the top menu bar, select Load Payroll Tax Tables

On the Load Tax Tables window, you will see the date of the current payroll tax tables loaded in your AccountEdge Company File. You will also see if there are more up to date payroll tax tables downloaded for you to load. If you have already installed the latest update, you will see a message saying all tax tables are loaded.

  1. Click Load Tax Tables, then select Load NEW Tables

NOTE: As a final note, if your state’s SUI rate or your FUTA rate changed – this information is not included in the tax tables. You can update this information by going to Setup on the top menu bar, then select Payroll and 1099 Information to adjust your rates.
